I have something new in the works that I'm really excited about, so here is a sneak peek at what I'm working on......
It all came about when a young woman recently showed me a needle art project her sister had made for her. It shows the back of the three sisters' heads. One of the girls is a redhead, one a brunette and the other is blonde. I just fell in love with this idea. The hair is actually tangible and free flowing. I found the designer and have ordered the patterns. Now I'm working on making this project into kits for you. The photo with the two girls is the original pattern. The other two show you what you can do with this design in order to make it more personal. I hope to have these ready by the time our newsletter comes out on the first. Hope you like them as much as I do.
OK - we finally did it! We have been working diligently for the past couple of years to get our inventory of Appleton wool for embroidery to this level. We now stock all 423 colors in both crewel and tapestry, as well as, in skeins and hanks for a total for more than 7000 units on hand ready to send out the day after ordering in most cases. It can also be used for knitting, but is primarily intended for hand embroidery.

Just got word from Ottobre Design that this current Family issue is the last one they'll publish. They will continue with the children's and women's issues, but no more Family issues. Sad to see them go. There were a total of 3 - one for each of the last three years.
Even though no more will be published, you can still get each of these. We have them ready to ship - and as always.... no shipping charge.
It's a bit sluggish here on this blog, so the first one to post a comment about Ottobre Design magazine will receive a free copy of the current Family issue. I only have one free copy to send out, so don't delay.
Last year we showed you Mary Corbet's Christmas Tree embroidery designs. They were my favorite designs for last year. Well, this year, Mary has Snowflake designs for you to hand embroider.
